Domestic agenda approved

By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, Aug 5: Playing conditions and rules for the domestic season 2002-2003 have been approved by the Pakistan Cricket Board Cricket Management Committee Monday.

The domestic season will begin from Sept 1.

Meanwhile, the chairman national umpiring council Mehboob Shah submitted his recommendations for panel of Grade I and Grade II umpires for the season 2002-2003.

The CMC also approved the panel as recommended by the council.

The CMC also granted permission to Karachi and Lahore cities cricket association to field a third team in Under-19 Grade II tournaments.

The permission is however conditional that is, if the third team fielded by KCCA and LCCA attain a position in the tournament, it will not be promoted.
