DERA GHAZI KHAN, Aug 5: Wapda authorities on Monday reportedly ordered severing power connections of the Leghari chief due to the non-payment of bills.

It is learnt that local authorities had received a fax message from the headquarters to disconnect power supply connections of the Leghari family for non-payment.

Though the matter is being kept secret, sources told Dawn that the family of Millat Party chief, Farooq Khan Leghari, had to pay Rs1 million to Wapda.

They said the Leghari family had to pay bills for 13 connections which were under their use.

It may be mentioned that the son of the Millat Party chief, Jamal Khan Leghari, is the Nazim of the DG Khan district.
