KARACHI, Aug 5: Justice Ataur Rahman of the High Court of Sindh admitted on Monday Ashique Ali to bail against a solvent surety of Rs10 million in five cases of alleged corruption.
Ashique Ali, an officer of the NDFC, was charged with misappropriating Rs40 million from provident funds of employees of the NDFC and other accounts.
Khwaja Naveed, representing the accused, sought concession of bail on the plea that cases against the accused were matters of further inquiry.—APP
