Awards for four camp trainees

KARACHI, Aug 3: Athletics and Badminton Summer Training and Coaching Camps for under-18 youths started on July 3 under the auspices of Pakistan Sports Board PSB at National Sports Training & Coaching Center, Karachi concluded here Saturday.

A total of 93 players participated in athletics (73 boys, 20 girls) and 26 players took part in badminton (24 boys, two girls) summer training & coaching camp under the guidance of prominent coaches.

Director Education, Federal Urdu Science College, Karachi, Ahmed Ali was the chief guest in the concluding ceremony. Director Liaquat NSTCC Ali Chandio, Nasir Moin Usmani and other eminent sports related personalities distributed the certificates among the camp trainees.

Moazzam Ali and Miss Sumaira Younus were awarded best player award in athletics while Nisar Ahmed and Suhail Ahmed were also awarded best badminton players of the camp.

M/s Gohar Raza, Anwar Ali Chandio, Naeem Rasheed, Shah Hussain and Ashfaq coaches were engaged for the training & coaching of the above camps.—PPI
