KARACHI, Aug 1: Justice Shabbir Ahmed of the Sindh High Court, who is also the administrative judge of the anti-terrorism courts for Karachi, allowed police on Thursday to get custody of Mohammed Hanif and Mohammed Imran, two accused involved in the suicide bomb attack at the US consulate here, for identification parade before a judicial magistrate.

The two accused are in judicial custody, and they are lodged in Central Jail Karachi.

The prosecution sought custody of the accused as both were also wanted in cases pertaining to the alleged attempt to assassinate President Gen Pervez Musharraf, suicide bombing case of the US consulate and other bomb explosions.—APP
