Afghan kills Pakistani

PESHAWAR, July 31: A Pakistani tribesman has been shot dead by an Afghan who accused him of spying for US forces based in eastern Afghanistan, local officials said on Wednesday.

Mohammad Ali Wazir, 40, was shot dead allegedly by Sirajuddin in the northern tribal town of Wana on Tuesday afternoon, South Waziristan district administration official Anwar Ali Shah told AFP.

“Sirajuddin has told investigators that Ali Wazir was providing secret information about Taliban and Al Qaeda to US forces operating in eastern Afghanistan,” Shah said.—AFP
