Juvenile courts planned

PESHAWAR, July 31: Government will arrange free legal aid to the poor jailed children, a meeting held on Tuesday to review matters relating to juvenile justice system in the province was told.

It was told that special juvenile courts will be established in Peshawar, Kohat, Abbottabad and Swat.

The meeting, presided over by NWFP Law and Local Government Minister Athar Minallah, was also attended by provincial chief of United Nations Fund, Zubeda Khatoon, Law Secretary Salim Khan, Prisons Inspector-General Zainul Abideen and Prisons Assistant Inspector-General Muzzafar Khan.
