KARACHI: Four cars, eleven bikes taken away

KARACHI, July 30: At least 15 vehicles — four cars and eleven motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen from different parts of the city on Tuesday, the police said.

One car was stolen and three were hijacked; nine motorcycles were stolen and two were hijacked on Tuesday, the police said.

The police claimed to have recovered two cars and three motorcycles from different parts of the city on Tuesday.

SHOT DEAD: A teenager was shot dead by his cousin over a domestic dispute in Mehmoodabad on Tuesday night.

According to the initial reports, Tauheed, aged 15, was shot at and injured by his cousin Noor Zaman, aged 22, in Mehmoodabad No.5. They were at their sister-in-law’s house when some dispute led to the eventuality. Noor Zaman was also injured when Tauheed returned the fire. Both of them were rushed to the JPMC where Tauheed was pronounced dead by the medico-legal officer. Noor Zaman was admitted to the JPMC for treatment.
