KARACHI: Ten cars, 12 bikes taken away

KARACHI, July 24: At least 22 vehicles — 10 cars and 12 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in different parts of the city on Wednesday, police said.

Six cars were taken away by bandits at gunpoint while four were stolen from different parts of the city.

Seven motorcycles were hijacked and five motorcycles were stolen by the bandits.

ROBBERIES: Three armed men deprived a shopkeeper of cash in Jamshed Quarters on Wednesday.

Police said that three armed men barged into a shop in the limits of Jamshed Quarters and deprived him of cash of Rs 8305.

In Azizabad, a complainant Nafees Ahmed lodged an FIR with the police that three armed men barged into his house and deprived him of cash and other valuables.

In Nabi Bux, Naushad was deprived of cash and other valuables by three armed men, who had barged into his house.
