HYDERABAD: Power thieves warned

HYDERABAD, July 24: Hesco chief executive Brig Tariq Arshad has said power theft will not be tolerated under any circumstances and even influential people will be sent to jail if they were found involved in power theft.

He said this while performing the inaugural ceremony of providing ten power connections to residents of Zeal Pak Colony here the other night.

He said those applicants of the colony who had deposited the demand notice amount would be provided power connections and meters within one week.

Speaking on the occasion, the president of the CBA Union, Sher Zaman, thanked the Hesco chief for giving the concession to make payments for the installation of meters on instalment.

POLIO DROPS: Polio drops were administered to children at various camps set up by the Khidmat-i-Khalq Foundation at Paretabad, Liaquat Colony and other areas on Tuesday.

Mobile teams of the Foundation also administered polio drops to children in Hirabad, Noorani Basti, Muslim town and other localities.
