Three killed in Sargodha

SARGODHA, July 22: Three people were killed while two others committed suicide in separate incidents in and around city on Sunday.

Three highwaymen shot dead one Qamaruz Zaman and injured his brother, Khalid, on resistance in Chak 44-SB on Talibwala Road on Sunday night.

One Umer Hayat of Ahli Kamboh village strangled his sister, Batool Bibi, over a petty dispute.

The decapitated body of an unidentified man was recovered from a nullah by the Kirana police.

One Allah Ditta and Shahdan of Mitha Luk committed suicide by taking poisonous pills.

CANDIDATES: Some 32,000 candidates have applied for their recruitment as teachers in various schools of Sargodha district.

The vacancies are 849 for elementary schoolteachers, 217 for senior schoolteachers and 217 for secondary schoolteachers out of which 63 seats are for science subjects.

One candidate has submitted 64 applications against different vacancies.

The district Nazim claimed that the recruitment would be made purely on merit.
