KARACHI, July 20: Three different courts of Karachi division remanded on Saturday Mohammed Ajmal alias Akram Lahori, Ataullah Bokhari and Mohammed Azam alias Sharif, three alleged terrorists of the Laskhar-i-Jhangvi, in judicial custody till Tuesday.
The accused were first produced before the Judicial Magistrate, East, Sohail Akhtar Manghi, who remanded them in judicial custody till Monday in the murder case of Syed Mushtaq Haider registered at Brigade police station.
Azam and Ataullah Bokhari were remanded in judicial custody till Monday by the Judicial Magistrate, East, Shaista Hamid, in Dr Mazhar Pirani murder case.
Both the above-named accused were also remanded in judicial custody till July 27 by the Judicial Magistrate, South, Rahmatullah Moro, for an attempt to kill Dr Alay Hasan Zaidi. The alleged incident took place in Frere police limits on June 2. — APP
