Minister inaugurates PIA facility

By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, July 10: Balochistan Information and Social Welfare Minister Roshan Khurshid Barucha inaugurated PIA’s city check-in facility counter here on Tuesday.

Mrs Barucha urged the authorities concerned to establish embroidery stalls at the airport and PIA office for the promotion of the province’s culture and products.

She also advised the PIA authorities that counters should be set up for senior citizens and women.

Balochistan PIA General Manger Sulman Javed said the facility envisaged issuance of boarding pass 72 hours prior to departure to passengers travelling without baggage.

The official said that the facility would be available in eight cities. He said the passenger would be required to report at the airport only 30 minutes prior to the departure of the flight.
