RAWALPINDI, July 7: Nasir Bunda Memorial hockey tournament will start at ARL hockey ground from July 12.

Leading club and departmental teams from Rawalpindi-Islamabad will appear in the tournament being organised by District Hockey Association, Rawalpindi, in collaboration with Attock Refinery Ltd.

The tournament will be played on natural grass as there is virtualy no ground left with playable astro-turf in the twin cities.

The opening match will be played between Fighters Club and Pindi Brothers.

Twentyeight teams, including four departmental outfits, will participate in the tournament, honourary secretary of DHA, Rawalpindi, Shaikh Abdul Majeed, said.—APP
