ISLAMABAD, July 7: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Prof Dr Ataur Rehman will inaugurate the first Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) services on Tuesday, says a press release of the Micronet Broadband.

According to the press release, the DSL services have been introduced for the first time in Islamabad by the Micronet Broadband, a private company in collaboration with the Pakistan Telecommunication Company (PTCL). The DSL aims at providing advance level of data transformation and high-quality communications by using the PTCL infrastructure.

The PTCL chairman, Akhtar Ahmed Bajwa, and Micronet Broadband CEO Wahajus Siraj would also brief the audience at the inaugural ceremony about the importance of the DSL services.
