ISLAMABAD, July 6: President Gen Pervez Musharraf has condoled the assassination of Haji Abdul Qadeer, Vice President and Minister for Public Works of the Afghan transitional government.

The president, in his message of condolences sent to President Hamid Karzai, said, “We are shocked and grieved at the assassination of Haji Abdul Qadeer, Vice President and Minister for Public Works of Afghanistan. The Government of Pakistan condemns this act of terrorism.”—APP
