LAHORE, July 6: If all goes well, chestnut gelding, Crysler, can make amends by winning the  supporting event of the Lahore Gymkhana races at the Racecourse Sunday.

Crysler is the progeny of Blue View out-of-a dam by Shahtab and is contesting in the fifth race, The Sukkur Plate, a class VII division I & II combined handicap race.

He is the most impressive runner and during his four previous outings has taken the first two positions.

Among his seven rivals, the most likely challenger could be Lucky Credit Queen and Dahis Again.

A card of six events comprising tiny fields will be decided in the afternoon. All races will be contested over the sprinting distance of 900 metres.

The feature event has the smallest field of six runners, if there are no last-minute withdrawals. In this event, Shah The Great, who is carrying a top weight of ten stones four pounds still has a slight edge over others.

The first race will be held at 2.30 pm.
