CPNE standing committee
KARACHI, July 6: The annual general meeting of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors general council, held at Lahore recently, unanimously elected the editors of the following newspapers and periodicals as members of the Standing Committee of the CPNE for 2002-2003:
Business Recorder, Dawn, Nawai Waqt, Baluchistan Times, Pakistan Observer, Pakistan, Khabrain, Jang, Qaumi Akhbar, Aghaz, Tijarat, Dayanat, Awami Awaz, Ibrat, Musawat, Kaleem, Daily Business Report, Paigham, Aftab, Wahdat, Jihad, Mashriq, Wifaq, Urdu Digest, Shahrage Pakistan, Roohani Digest, Kiran, Nai Ufaq, The Cricketter and Pictorial News Review, says a press release.
