MIRPURKHAS, July 2: The district health officials have aborted transfer of possession of a closed SESSI dispensary to an NGO for its office use and made the dispensary functional.

The dispensary of the Sindh Employees’ Social Security Institution was lying closed for the last several years.

Reports said that on an application by Zahida Detho, coordinator, Sindh Rural Partners’ Organization, Mirpurkhas district Nazim Pir Shafqat Hussain Shah Jilani allotted the dispensary building for office use of the NGO.

Meanwhile, some officers of the district health department delayed transfer of possession of the building to the NGO and made arrangements for reopening the dispensary.

Suddenly doctors and other staff appeared at the dispensary and made it functional.
