PESHAWAR: Power meters

PESHAWAR, July 1: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) has warned the people of Mohmand tribal agency to install power meters at their residential and commercial plots by July 2 otherwise power supply would be disconnected.

In a press release issued here on Monday, it said if the residents of the area did not cooperate with Pesco in its meter installation campaign, power supply to Ghalani Bazaar, Gandao, Mian Mandi, Lakarai Bazaar, Yakaghund, single phase of Mohammad Goth, Ghazi Abad and Prang Ghar would be disconnected. Even supply to tube-wells and industrial areas would be discontinued.

Pesco said the meter installation drive in the frontier regions of tribal area were going on successfully as the residents and traders of the area were cooperating with the Wapda authorities in the installation of meters.
