KARACHI, June 28: The well-bred three-year-old chestnut colt Strategic, is on course to register his fourth straight victory, when the Summer Gymkhana Race Meeting gets underway on Saturday afternoon at the Karachi Racecourse.

Participating the concluding race in a field of nine runners going over the sprinting distance of five furlongs, the Strides By Strides - First Lady sibling should leave the rest of the field in her wake, as he scorches the turf on his way to victory.

Najla, a chestnut filly, has the speed to finish the race in second position followed home by Faisal Farooq’s bay colt Deniro, a splendid winner last week under jockey Zahid Faiz.

Another runner that should not lose is the bay mare Winning Queue on the trail for a hat trick in the fifth event. The five-year-old is trained by Taj Mohammad and owned by Miss Zainab Ali. Royal Lancer and Ashok’s five-year-old grey mare Blue’s Night, should battle it out for the second spot.

Also on the winning trail is the much improved bay mare Even Top, participating in the third event. A fluent winner last time out under riding boy Bashir Karim, Even Top should sprint past the winning post ahead of Just In Fun and Prism Of Life.

Lucky Love, although finishing a poor second behind Neeli Nighahain under jockey Sajjid Hussain last week, should run a much better five furlong sprint beating Miss Neutron, a fine winner in her last outing under riding boy Najam Iqbal and Sher Khan in the opener.

In the next event, Neeli Nighain won the opening race last week and if all goes well, the 13-year-old bay mare should gallop home to another victory, beating Baby Tabassum and Jango.
