KARACHI: Six car, 11 bikes hijacked

KARACHI, June 28: Seventeen vehicles — six cars and 11 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Friday, the police said.

One car was hijacked. Five others were stolen.

Five motorcycles were hijacked. Six others were stolen.

The police also claimed on Friday to have recovered four cars and four motorcycles in the city.

FOUND DEAD: An unidentified young man was found dead in a vacant house in Soldier Bazaar.

The police said the body was found in a house in Garden West. As the body was 3-4 days old, a foul smell came out of the house. The body was sent to Civil Hospital.

ARRESTED: The police arrested two suspected car hijackers in the city on early Friday morning and recovered a car and firearms from their possession.
