KARACHI, June 26: A young girl died in mysterious circumstances in Mochko late on Tuesday night.
Abul Hasan, a resident of Mawach Goth, had sought the help of a young girl for household work from the neighbourhood after a baby was born to his wife.
Police said that he had invited Kamaluddin and his family to his house for dinner.
After dinner, he requested Kamaluddin to leave his 14-year- old daughter Asma, as his wife not feeling well after delivery and could not look after the household affairs.
Police said that Kamaluddin agreed and left his daughter at Abul Hasan’s house.
On late Tuesday night, neighbours saw smoke coming out of the house and informed the police.
The police entered the house and found Asma’s burnt body. Abul Hasan and his wife are missing, police added.
