Neuville’s appeal verdict today

YOKOHAMA, June 24: FIFA will consider Tuesday whether Germany striker Oliver Neuville was correctly shown a yellow card for a foul during the 1-0 quarterfinal win over the United States.

The German soccer federation (DFB) has written to the world soccer’s governing body saying the card on Friday was not justified and asking for the decision to be revoked.—Reuters
