SKARDU, June 24: A separate services tribunal for Northern Area is being set up, and rules in this connection are being framed, deputy chief executive of Northern Areas Fida Mohammad Nashad told Dawn on Monday.

Fida Nashad said after approval by the members of the Northern Areas Legislative Council, the draft service laws would be incorporated in the ADP.

He said that the government servants were facing hardships due to the non-existence of the tribunal in the area. “In view of the hardships, the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Northern Areas have been recommended for the establishment of a services tribunal for Northern Areas,” he added.—Correspondent
