Nazim, 8 others issued warrants

SHIKARPUR, June 20: The fifth additional sessions judge, Shikarpur, Khan Muhammad Kolachi issued bailable warrants for a sum of Rs50,000 against accused Amjad Khan Pathan (Nazim, Taluka Council, Shikarpur), Aziz Ahmed Soomro (T.O., Regulation), and seven others on Wednesday.

The complainant, Ghulam Ali Brohi, had made a direct complaint in the court of the sessions and district judge, Shikarpur, that the Taluka Nazim, Amjad Khan, along with T.O. Aziz Ahmed Soomro and seven others had taken away his wooden cabin containing material valued at Rs500 and robbed cash worth Rs25,000 from the complainant on gunpoint on 25-04-2002 without issuance of any notice.

DACOIT ARRESTED: A dacoit, Qurban Ali alias Qurboo Kalhoro, was arrested by the Madeji police with the help of the villagers at the Din Mohammed Brohi village on Wednesday.
