Marker re-elected as PICIC chief

KARACHI, June 20: The board of directors of Pakistan Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation (PICIC) has re-elected Khursheed K Marker as its chairman and Mohammad Basheer Janmohammad as deputy chairman.

Fifteen directors were already elected on PICIC Board last month for a period of three years.

These are Khursheed K. Marker, Tariq Iqbal Khan, Kamal Afsar, Hasan Aziz Bilgrami, Rasool Bakhsh Baloch, M Yasin Lakhani, Shaikh M Rafiq Akhtar, M Bashir Janmohammad, Jahangir Siddiqui, Gul Nawaz, Zahid Bashir, Roohi R Khan, Javed A Callea, Mahmood Ahmed and Javed Omar Vohra.

The permanent directors are Katsuaki Endo of Bank of Tokyo, representing Japanese shareholder in PICIC, Mirza Ghazanfar Baig, Senior Joint Secretary (Investment) Finance Division Government of Pakistan representing federal government and Muhammad Ali Khoja, ex-officio Director and managing director and chief executive of PICIC.—APP
