MITHI, June 17: The growers of the calamity-hit district, Tharparkar, have appealed to the president and the Sindh governor to grant remission of the ADBP loans up to Rs50,000 to Thari growers.

Speaking at a news conference here the other day, Faqir Sher Mohammad Bilalani, Mithi Taluka Nazim Mohammad Dadan Hingorjo, Sawaisingh, Khetaingh, Birdhsingh and others said the remission of the ADBP’s loans up to 50,000 had already been sanctioned for the growers of Balochistan.

They demanded that the last date of the recovery of loans should be extended from June 31 to December 31.
