WB loan

DHAKA, June 13: The World Bank on Thursday signed a $4.5 million loan agreement with Bangladesh government to help it reduce corruption and increase efficiency in the public procurement of goods, works and services.
A press release issued by the WB Dhaka office says the loan will help finance a Public Procurement Reform Project to amend procurement rules and procedures and improve procurement management capacity.
