PESHAWAR: Expensive kidney treatment


PESHAWAR, June 8: People whose kidneys have been diseased continue to additionally suffer the consequences of expensive treatment in the province.

Mohammad Rasool, 40, a resident of Pakha Ghulam in the outskirts of Peshawar city, used to earn merely Rs50 a day when he developed symptoms of the disease some seven years back. Talking to Dawn, Rasool said that for some time he had to discontinue treatment, as he not afford the cost.— Correspondent
