NEW DELHI, June 7: US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld’s trip next week to defuse tensions between Pakistan and India has been delayed by a couple of days, an official said on Friday.
Rumsfeld, who had been expected to hold talks in India on Sunday and then head to Pakistan, has put off the visit by “a couple of days” so that he can first visit Arab countries, said an official at the US embassy in New Delhi.—AFP
