KARACHI, June 6: The Expanded Programme of Immunization, came under review at a meeting held under the chairmanship of the Sindh governor, Mohammedmian Soomro, at the Governor’s House on Thursday.
A number of decisions were taken to gear up the programme. It was decided that relaxing the ban on recruitment, 700 vaccinators would be appointed on a one-year contract for a better implementation of the programme.
The meeting was attended by Health Minister Ehsan Ahmed, Chief Secretary Javed Ashraf Hussain and other officials.
