Market economy status for Russia
MOSCOW, June 6: US President George W. Bush on Thursday informed his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin that the United States now considers Russia to be a market economy, Russian news agencies said, quoting Economy and Trade Minister German Greff.
The decision would be formally announced shortly, Gref told the public television station RTR.—AFP
