KARACHI: Inter-city bus owners’ body formed

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, June 2: Air-conditioned bus owners have decided to form an eight-member committee in each pro-vince and a supreme council with two members from each province to sort out problems being faced by the operators of inter-city and inter-province coaches, as well as to take up the matter of shifting bus terminuses from cities by the government.

This decision was taken at a representative meeting of the bus owners held on Sunday at the office of Qadri Coach, near Old Sabzimandi.

The meeting was summoned by the president of Air-conditioned Bus Owners Association, Sindh and Balochistan, Haji Juma Khan.

In the meeting, problems of the transporters were highlighted, particularly with regard to the shifting of bus terminuses from cities.
