KARACHI: Demo held against India

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, June 2: The Sindh Democratic Alliance on Sunday staged a demonstration in front of Karachi Press Club against Indian aggressive designs.

The participants, led by SDA chief Imtiaz Shaikh, were holding party flags, banners and placards and were raising anti-Indian slogans.

Speaking on the occasion, Imtiaz Shaikh criticized Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee for his warmongering attitude and said Pakistan wanted peace in the region but if war was imposed by India it would get a befitting response.

“The People of Pakistan are behind their armed forces and will defend the motherland with their full might”.
