10 killed in Pattoki road accident

KASUR, June 1: About 10 passengers were killed while about 50 others were injured seriously when a bus fell down from Habib Abad railway bridge, Pattoki, on Saturday.

According to initial information, a bus (6026-JA) was going from Lahore to Okara. When it reached near Habib Abad railway bridge, Pattoki, suddenly its tyre burst, in consequence of which it went out of control and fell from the bridge.

As a result, 10 passengers were killed on the spot while about 50 were injured seriously.
