KARACHI, June 1: The birth anniversary of German political philosopher and economist, Karl Marx, will be observed here on Sunday.
A seminar on Marxism and globalization has been organized at Sidco Centre, says an announcement on Saturday.
The speakers on the occasion will include renowned sociologist Prof Hamza Alvi, research scholar Dr Jaffer Ahmed and Farooq Tariq, general secretary of the Labour Party of Pakistan. Poet Fazil Jamili will also express his views on the occasion.—APP
