SINGAPORE, May 29: Singapore and China said on Wednesday they had signed an agreement to set up an innovation centre here to promote technologies developed by Chinese companies. The China Innovation Centre for High Technology Enterprises, slated to open by the end of the year, will also allow Singapore’s hi-tech sector to tap the innovation of its Chinese counterparts, the statement said.—AFP
