KARACHI, May 28: The Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT), the Dow Medical College and the Civil Hospital Karachi are organizing the Khawaja Muin memorial lecture on May 31 at Dewan Farooq Medical Complex.

The lecture on “Hibernating Myocardium” will be delivered by Prof Shahabuddin Rahimtoola and the programme will be presided over by Karachi University Vice-Chancellor Prof Zafar Saeed Saify.

Prof Rahimtoola, a graduate of Dow Medical College, at present teachess at the Southern California, Los Angeles, USA.

Sindh Governor Mohammedmian Soomro will award him “Doctor of Science” on behalf of the University of Karachi in recognition of his services, on May 30.— PPI
