By Our Correspondent

HARIPUR, May 27: As many as 264,000 children below the age of five years fall ill to dysentery as they do not have access to safe potable water and a large number of houses lack latrine facility which worsens the situation in the district.

This was stated by Munir Ahmad, the Human Resource Development officer of Sarhad Rural Support Programme, while speaking to the councillors, lady councillors and Nazims of different union councils of Haripur on Friday.
