KARACHI: LLM results announced

KARACHI, May 22: The University of Karachi on Wednesday announced the results of LLM (final) annual examinations 2000-2001.

Mumtaz Ahmad, seat No 2136, of Federal Govt Urdu Law College, secured first class first position, while second and third positions went respectively to two students of S. M. Govt Law College — Uzma Khan, seat No 2110, and Amir Aziz Khan, seat No 2001.

According to the KU statistics, 180 candidates had appeared in the examinations, out of which 48 were declared pass.

The pass percentage remained 26.67.

Students carrying the following seat numbers were declared pass:

First division: 2001, 2069, 2097, 2110, 2136, 2168 and

2175.

Second division: 2003, 2007, 2008, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2020, 2037, 2051, 2053, 2058, 2061, 2066, 2067, 2070, 2071, 2072, 2073, 2079, 2084, 2095, 2102, 2106, 2107, 2108, 2109, 2111, 2113, 2115, 2116, 2120, 2126, 2128, 2148, 2154, 2164, 2184, 2191, 2197, 2199, 2201.

Cleared final-year only: 2189.

ADMISSIONS: The University of Karachi has announced that all those candidates who have appeared in degree examinations and await their results can apply for admissions to various departments in evening programme, adds PPI.

However, the admissions will be confirmed after the announcement of results and submission of original marks sheets.

The admission counters set up at the main silver jubilee gate of the university will remain open for receiving the admission forms till evening.

The admission forms could be submitted up to May 24.

HOLIDAY: Meanwhile, the University of Karachi has announced that the campus and its affiliated colleges will remain closed on May 25 on account of Eid Miladun Nabi.
