KARACHI, May 21: The Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation Ltd has made arrangements for the sanction of on-the-spot new telephone connections.

The PTCL authorities will hold an open kutchery in the Clifton exchange on Hatim Alvi Road and Cantt exchange behind Karachi Club, on Wednesday.

Kutcheries will also be held in other exchanges of the Southern Telecom Region-II, for which the schedule has already been published in the media, said a PTCL press release on Tuesday.

Zonal Directors and Divisional Engineers, Phones of the respective areas will be present in the kutcheries starting at 10.00am.

Applicants have been requested to avail this offer and bring the required documents to get telephone connections on a priority basis.

This offer will continue till the second week of June, the statement added.—APP
