Fahd leaves for Switzerland
RIYADH, May 20: Saudi Arabia’s ailing King Fahd left for Switzerland on Monday, where he will rest for an unspecified period, the official Saudi Press Agency reported.
The agency did not give further details of the trip by King Fahd, who has rarely travelled abroad since suffering a stroke in 1995. Crown Prince Abdullah has been the de facto ruler of the oil-rich kingdom since then.—Reuters
