KARACHI, May 19: The residents of Lyari on Sunday afternoon staged a peaceful demonstration in front of Karachi Press Club against the water shortage.
Holding banners and placards the demonstrators raised slogans against the KWSB for its failure to solve the water shortage problem despite repeated protests by the area people.
The demonstration was organised by the Sindh National Movement.
The leaders of the Movement, including its chief Majeed Baloch, addressed the participants. They pledged to continue their protest by holding peaceful rallies.
