KARACHI, May 9: The 13th Aalmi Mushaira has been postponed in view of the city situation following a bomb blast, which killed 14 people on Wednesday, says a press release.
The press release, issued by the Sakinan-i-Shaher-i-Quaid on Thursday, adds that an Aalmi Mushaira committee at an emergency meeting, reviewed the city situation, arrangements for the Mushaira, security arrangements for the poets coming from abroad, etc.
The meeting decided to postpone the Mushaira. The next date will be announced within three days.
