HYDERABAD, May 7: A group of activists of the Sindhi Hari Tehrik staged a token hunger strike outside the press club here on Tuesday to protest against the alleged murderous attack on a hari leader.

The hari leader, Mohammad Akram Otho, was also allegedly robbed of Rs30,000 by Muso Otho, Abdus Sattar Otho and their companions within the jurisdiction of the Chambar police station.

Talking to newsmen, Mohammad Akram Otho, Mohammad Siddique Otho and Mohammad Yaqoob Otho alleged that when they went to lodge the FIR at the Chambar police station against the murderous attack and robbery, they were thrown out of the police station by ASI Talib Channa and Head Munshi Qabool Jatoi.

They demanded of the authorities concerned to order the Chambar police to register the FIR. They pledged to enlarge the scope of their protest if justice was not restored in the matter.
