Cotton seminar

KARACHI, May 2: The Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) and All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma) are holding a joint seminar on ‘Cotton Production, Quality Improvement and Hedge Trading in Cotton,’ on Saturday.

The seminar will be inaugurated by Commerce Minister Abdul Razak Dawood.

Prominent speakers from the cotton trade and government organizations concerned with cotton will present their papers on subjects related to the theme of the seminar.

Discussions to be held in the seminar and proposals made will greatly help in increasing cotton production, improving the quality of cotton and also bring out the utility and significance of resumption of hedge trading in the marketing of cotton.
