QUETTA, April 20: A former provincial finance minister, Syed Ehsan Shah, who was convicted in absentia by an accountability court some time back, arrived in Turbat on Friday.
Shah was awarded the sentence in a corruption reference filed by the regional accountability bureau. The reference pertains to the utilization of secret funds of the chief minister.
The Turbat police offered no comment when their attention was drawn to the court verdict.—Staff Correspondent
