KARACHI: Transporters criticized

KARACHI, March 31: The Sindh Professors and Lecturers’ Association (SPLA) on Sunday condemned the transporters for observing strike on March 30 and urged the city government to take stern measures against them.

“The strike created a lot of hardships for the public, especially for the students appearing in SSC exams,” the SPLA said, adding that people were against the unjustified demands of transporters.

SPLA President Prof Sirajuddin Qazi demanded the administration to depute traffic police in front of every college.—PPI
