KHAIRPUR, March 28: Ghulam Rasool Buriro, head master of the Government Naz Pilot Secondary School, Khairpur, and member of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sukkur, alleged that the acting chairman of BISE, Sukkur, was involved in corruption.
Mr Bururo who submitted his resignation to the governor Sindh, controlling authority of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Sukkur on March 27 said that he was made the incharge of the inspection team consisted of head masters and added that he reported a number of cheating cases but in most of the cases the accused were absolved by the acting chairman through appellate committee while only a few were punished.
He further alleged that he had been raising objections in the board meetings to chairman,s spending a lot of money on his residence and office.
He pointed out that three vehicles, 4 watchmen, body guards, attendants and other facilities were enjoyed by the chairman which harmed the board financially.
Mr Buriro further alleged that the chairman got one Khyber car (No. 0008) allotted on his name for visiting examination centres with other team members, but the car remained in his personal use.
He regretted that the chairman spent a lot of money on dinners, lunches and parties.
